"Four of us stayed at this beautiful,private log cabin style home in the woods for the weekend.It was close to town if you needed gas,groceries,souvenir shopping,etc.,The large home was very neat,clean and comfortable.The owners left us a lovely greeting card for when we arrived.Beds were very comfortable.We highly recommend this home and would enjoy another stay there.Thank you."

"We really enjoyed our week at Peaceful Moose house. The house is very cozy, with lots of space for our party of 6. The first floor master bedroom is so amazing, with a view of the lake. We enjoyed having coffee in the morning and drinks in the evening on the beautiful deck overlooking the lake. The kids enjoyed making smores on the firepit. Tony was a great host and went above and beyond for us. We miss Lake George and Peaceful Moose already and hope to be back!"

"We had a great time in Bolton Landing, and this house was in a prime location. It was nice and roomy, with a lot of places for us to hang out separately and together. I only gave 4 stars because the AC was broken for part of our stay, which made for an uncomfortable first couple of nights until the temps fell. We'd love to come back! "

"The house was very clean and in good condition. The A/C consisted of a small, inexpensive window unit on the first floor. It barely cooled the living and there was no A/C, in any of the bedrooms, kitchen, bathrooms or basement during 90 degree weather. There were absolutely no supplies in the house. 6 AM tried to make coffee in the morning and there were no coffee filters. In addition, there were no garbage bags and very limited toilet tissue. No iron, ironing board, or hair driers on...

"My Dad had always wanted to spend a Christmas in a log cabin. So, the family and I had decided to book this beautiful home a year in advance. During that time, my Dad was diagnosed with Stage 4 esophageal cancer. He did have the treatable kind with a good prognosis. My Dad went through his 7 weeks of radiation and chemo. Unfortunately, he died in his sleep 2 days after his last day of treatment. My whole family decided that we would honor my fathers wish and spend our Christmas in this home...
