"The cabin was amazing. We skied Gore mountain 2 days. The drive was maybe 15 min. We appreciated the full kitchen set up. After full days of skiing we appreciated, relaxing by the fire and cooking. The waterfall behind the cabin was beautiful. It was very clean and the communication with the host was excellent. We would def stay here again. "

Easy drive to Gore Mountain!Cathy was an excellent host, and the check-in and check-out were convenient and stress-free.Close to the road and truck traffic therefore some car noise noticeable at night. The heating equipment making some weird noise when starting maybe get it checked out. "

We enjoyed the indoor propane fireplace very much. The description of the house says “charming” - read that as a tired, well settled, older home. However, this did not bother us at all. The house was stocked with everything we would need and the hosts were very attentive. Helpful Info was provided on activities and shopping in the area. One suggestion for future guests is to bring reading lights, since lighting in common areas was rather dim. "

"A great location for the hiking and kayaking we wanted to experience in the Adirondack mountains. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen was adequately supplied. The home was a little dark for reading which were were prepared for with book lights. You can hear the cars on route 87 to be aware of if the would bother you. "
