"the property is very nice and spacious. but unfortunately far from most attractions. Due to the hurricane damage Blue Ridge was closed off and most driving distances are 40 minutes plus. The other downfall was the trash situation. We were unaware that would have to dispose of the trash away from the house to the nearest landfill. Fortunately you have the option of the cleaning staff taking it for you at a Fee cost. "

"We could not recommend highly enough. Willy and Shoney are great hosts. Three-course breakfasts were amazing. Homemade cookies set out as take-aways every day. Free glasses of wine on the porch in the evening. Wonderful live music included on Saturday night. On-point advice about what to do around Asheville. All in a beautiful and historic home. I don't know what they could do to make it better. Just a fantastic place to stay."

"Very close to all things in downtown Blowing Rock. 300 feet from Bald Guy Brewing for great coffee. Having dedicated parking was nice as well, we never had an issue finding a spot. Unit was spotless when we arrived. All appliances and HVAC worked with no issues. The beds are comfortable with plenty of blankets to stay warm.One item to be ready for if you have a fall or winter rental - the checkout instructions have the outgoing tenant drop the thermostat to 54*. So be ready for it to be chilly...

"The house lived up to the advertisement which is unusual these days. The owners were very nice, made check in easy and provided accurate answers to my questions. If you are looking for seclusion, privacy with great sunsets this is the place to be! I recommend this place to everyone & I will be back again."
