"What a peaceful, beautiful and tucked away piece of heaven! We spent 3 days in our pjs resting and recuperating from a long years worth of trials and tribulations. THIS is the best place to do just that! No frills, just basic needs and nature. On our last full day we ventured into Sylva for a little “retail therapy” at Walmart and a few other quaint local shops before returning to Cullowehee to dine on the most delicious pizza at Rodgers Bros.(highly recommended them by the way). Packed and had another wonderful night sleep on our bed that was warmed from beneath the sheets with a warming pad and then atop of the sheets a thick warm duvet. We had some cold nights…28-38 degrees but that just made snuggling more important We will definitely be back, Matt the land owner and his son Cole are gracious hosts. The Stays (booking agents) were very helpful and answered our questions quickly. 10-10"

"Everything was perfect. Pictures dont do it justice. Its not a creek but the Tuskgage River. Absolutely beautiful. Family members remarked several times, save this cabin, its our favorite."

"We had a wonderful time enjoying the beautiful waterfalls and relaxing in the very comfortable and roomy "Altitude with Attitude" mountain home! The beds were comfortable, and kitchen was well stocked with essential cooking items. the check-in process and check-out process was simple. Lovely towns of Sylva and Dillsboro were perfect - got nails down and hiked and played games. A Great place for us - thank you for your hospitality. "

The hosts were incredible – warm, responsive, and went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. They truly made us feel at home, and it’s clear they care deeply about providing an exceptional experience for their guests. This little slice of paradise left us relaxed, refreshed, and already planning our next visit. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a memorable getaway! Side-note: they even had emergency supplies of power went out, which we have experienced in the past with other vacation rentals, and literally sat there with our cell phones in the dark so nice to know they’re prepared for everything!"
