"We only stayed one night for our daughter’s 8th birthday shopping trip, the staff decorated our room with ballooons and confetti and made a cake from towels! Absolutely incredible service. Highly recommended to anyone wanting to stay in Bristol. The room is clean and tidy, and the bed was the comfiest I have stayed in! All shampoo and conditioner and body was is supplied too. Staff are so friendly. Didn’t eat at the restaurant but the food did look amazing! "

"The Night potter wasn't helpful. Didn't give proper directions to get to the room. We arrived by 8 pm but the room wasn't ready which was okay as the lady receptionist was nice. She advised us the night potter would make up our room. We arrived later and check in with him. He just gave us the keys, didn't tell us where the room was. We proceed to wonder around trying to find our room. So we asked him on the way, he said take a left at the door and it is just there. And that he had told me...

"Lovely stay at this property! The only small point being the storage heating not being quite adequate but saying that it was very comfortable and relaxing!"

"A hidden gem of a hotel. Beautiful building, lovely surroundings. My only reason for not giving it a 5 across the board was that there was a private party in one of the function rooms. Not an issue in itself, however I felt the staff were stretched quite thin as a result and the service was quite slow at dinner, to the point that we had to keep trying to find someone to serve, get the bill etc. Other than that, we had a great time and it wouldn’t deter me from coming back "
