"Enjoyed our stay, secure parking garage beneath the hotel was great, we just left the car there and walked around the city, mini mart right over the road for groceries and snacks, didn't mind that there was no on site restaurant, we just had breakfast in the room which had a kitchenette and fridge and ate out for lunch and dinner. "Verandahs is a lovely old villa with an almost ‘posh’ backpackers vibe. Its a couple of minutes walk to Ponsonby Road and about 10-15 minutes to K Road. We stayed in a queen room with ensuite which was spacious and clean, with nice linen on the bed. Check in was a breeze and the service was friendly and warm. Definately recommend and would stay here again :)"

"We booked this property because it was a handy location, unfortunately we had also booked it because it said we could have 3 separate beds and because I was booking it for 3 students that didn't really know each other it was appropriate they have their own beds. I have just been told they were only provided with a double and single bed. This has put me in a rather awkward position. They were not confident to ask for this to be changed."
