"My partner and I had a wonderful stay – thank you so much for having us! We absolutely loved having our own spa in the room, the stunning view from our balcony, and the ability to cast movies from our phone to the TV using Google Chromecast. "Verandahs is a lovely old villa with an almost ‘posh’ backpackers vibe. Its a couple of minutes walk to Ponsonby Road and about 10-15 minutes to K Road. We stayed in a queen room with ensuite which was spacious and clean, with nice linen on the bed. Check in was a breeze and the service was friendly and warm. Definately recommend and would stay here again :)"

"Good news : Everything from here is a downhill walk. Everything was clean, modern, and in good repair. My first floor single on the all female floor was very cozy. Window opened. Desk top fan provided. No air conditioning. The first day my room was VERY hot when I returned because the summer sun was beating into my room. "We booked this property because it was a handy location, unfortunately we had also booked it because it said we could have 3 separate beds and because I was booking it for 3 students that didn't really know each other it was appropriate they have their own beds. I have just been told they were only provided with a double and single bed. This has put me in a rather awkward position. They were not confident to ask for this to be changed."

"My start was excellent. The staff were super helpful, friendly and when out of there way. The only issue I had was having a friend come up to my room for a short while. He was questioned by the receptionist. Not sure what all that was about. I guess it's for security reasons. Shouldn't have been a problem as he wasn't staying with me. "
