"Good news : Everything from here is a downhill walk. Everything was clean, modern, and in good repair. My first floor single on the all female floor was very cozy. Window opened. Desk top fan provided. No air conditioning. The first day my room was VERY hot when I returned because the summer sun was beating into my room. "Excellent for your first arrival to New Zealand. Is near to everything you might need; the public library is around 3 blocks away for any doc printing you might need. There are all the major bank branches near and money exchange stores. Also, if you don´t have car, there are several bus stops near the hotel. My room was clean and quiet, and the bathrooms and toilets were clean an well serviced. The staff was nice and friendly. "
