It’s overpriced and I found the staff to be dishonest. No body speaks English, and while this was fine at other hotels who were intelligent enough to communicate by pointing and body language, as is standard around the world, the staff here seemed incapable or just uninterested. "料理と温泉がとても良い。料理は、夕食が部屋食、朝食は会場でしたが、とても美味しくいただきました。部屋食では、仲居さんと女将さんが交互に料理を運んでくれますが、会話も楽しく、弾みました。また、源泉かけ流しの白濁した温泉は、塩原温泉自体がホテルの大型化で少なくなっているなか、とても貴重です。風呂で一緒になったリピーターの方も、やはり温泉と料理に魅力を感じているとのことで、同感です。また、到着後、チェックインしてから茶菓子のサービスに始まり、部屋までの案内など、従業員のサービスも良く、好感が持てます。また、部屋ではWiFiが使えます。なお、通された部屋は、清潔ですが、眺望がないのが残念。また、隣の部屋の客の声も聞こえ、これがマイナス要素です。"
