"This was a very relaxing place to stay. There are hiking routes around the area. Recommend taking a stroll in the nearby mountain town. The breakfast and dinner were delicious. Udon by the river, foot spas, all were amazing! Ask a local for directions on the Udon by the river. Quite the amazing experience."

"This ryokan is in a beautiful location. Mr. Toshi went above and beyond to provide us excellent hospitality, a meal, and even showed us around Shiobara region and drove us to our bus stop. He was so helpful and caring to my family. The food, onsen, and rooms are wonderful."

"The hotel is not located near anything interesting and is wildly difficult to access. I’m all for isolation but getting here is a pain and staying here is boring. It’s overpriced and I found the staff to be dishonest. No body speaks English, and while this was fine at other hotels who were intelligent enough to communicate by pointing and body language, as is standard around the world, the staff here seemed incapable or just uninterested. "
