"This place had a great location, close to the train station and no more than 30 minute walks or train rides to most tourist attractions and food. Staff were super friendly and it was very clean. However, if you are used to a softer or thicker mattress, the beds will hurt your back. My partner and I were in a lot of pain after our stay because of the bed and pillow. It was an overall great stay but the beds could hurt you if you’re staying for a longer period. "

"The guesthouse is quite nice, the dorm I stayed in is just 4 bunks, which is a good thing when staying is guesthouses. The showers were very clean for a shared situations. The location is in a charming district near Kyoto university.
