"Amazing ryokan stay in the heart of Kyoto; there’s a public bath you can try which is traditional and fun way to shower / bathe. When you check in they pour you tea and give you traditional sweet; they then go through breakfast times; breakfast in the room is amazing and must try. The set up of the beds was also done seamlessly and everyone was super courteous and polite - thank you for a great stay! "

"This ryokan exceed all expectations . The two owners of the house, a couple, were the sweetest people. Super helpful and they knew english. The rooms were so cool in traditional style and the public bath was cool to see. I will say personally i found the beds to be a bit too firm, but my travel companions thought they were better than some hotel beds. So it is just personal preference but i’d stay here again.
