"Compared to the rest of the southern sun hotels I’ve used over the years. This is the worst!! The rooms are not appealing, the towels are not clean. They look something between white and brown. The bathrooms are a turn off. The workmanship on the plumbing is just untidy. This hotel needs a serious revamp. The walkways are so dull. It looks so dingy. "

"We had a very bad experience in this hotel. At 2:30 am someone started knocking at our door at least 3 times. I woke up and when I opened the door, there was the bell boy bringing a suitcase that was not ours. After he noticed he got the wrong room, he apologized and left. It was almost impossible for us to get back to sleep and we felt tired all day long. It is unbelievable that a "5 star" hotel has this type of mistakes. Also, when checking out, we got a different rate than what was initially...

"We stayed 5 nights and loved it. It is close to malls, Sheldrick elephant orphanage and the Giraffe Center. Would stay here again on next visit to Nairobi. "

"The hotel decor has an 'Africa' feel to it that I enjoy. I have often stayed at this hotel when passing through Nairobi even though it is a couple more miles from the airport. Its still just a short taxi ride away. I will stay here again."
