"Villa Mila was a fantastic place to host Christmas with our grown kids! It provided the perfect place to hang out together and explore the beautiful Guanacaste area! The condo is very beautiful, with magnificent views and SO clean (thank you to wonderful housekeepers!). Hazel, the concierge, was very helpful. We especially love the beach club. One note: the beach club just raised their daily per person rates (Yowza...SO expensive for the holidays!). Just a perfect holiday!"

"Our stay at Casa Natalia was simply fabulous! We traveled there with a group of family adults to celebrate my husband's 70th Birthday. We loved all the amenities and comfort the house had to offer. Great expansive kitchen with lots of dishes, wine glasses, etc., was perfect for entertaining. We truly appreciated all the help and assistance we received from Jimmy, the concierge. "We had 4 couples stay at Sunset Villa. We could not have been more pleased! The views are incredible and the sunsets can't be beat. As other reviewers have said, we had plenty of room to be together but also plenty of privacy. Even the rooms near the kitchen were quiet when others were in the kitchen. Fantastic property, easy communication with the owner and the housekeeper. Her translation app made it easy to "talk" with her. We couldn't have asked for a better place!"

"The road up the hill is absolutely horrible even by Costa Rica standards. But the house is better than the photos. The only knock I can give it is one of the bedrooms is downstairs and you have to go up the outside stairs to reach the rest of the house and it doesn’t have hot water in the bathroom. The view is breathtaking and Silvia is an absolute sweetheart and does a great job. All in all I highly recommend it. "

The bedroom storage was cheap and one drawer does not stay closed. On a downer note, I woke up with multiple bites on my legs, ankles, and feet that I did not have when I went to bed. There may be bed bugs or spiders. "

"Lovely little unit that was perfect for us. We really enjoyed the terrace, but as others have mentioned, a shade umbrella would have really added to our enjoyment. Everything with condo was great. There is no parking at the condo, but the shuttles to the parking lot come by every few minutes. Really appreciated that the shower had a safety bar! Everything very clean and nice. Bed was comfy. "The place was very clean, and Vacasa staff (on-site property manager) were responsive. The interior furniture is tired and the property could generally use a refresh. Beds and pillows are of low quality. In terms of luxury, I would rate this as "3 Stars out of 5" for those reasons. The advertised laundry facilities were not available during our stay, and we had no advance notice of this problem. The shuttle service to the beach was irregular and undependable. The Westin Reserva Conchal, an All-Inclusive Golf Resort & Spa

"I loved this resort! 1. The food was great for resort food 2. The staff was very accommodating and friendly. 3. We always felt safe even at night 4. The resort was full of monkeys, iguanas, macaws, birds 5. Lots of entertainment for kids The only downside was the beach. Don’t go here For the beach. It’s pretty and the view is great but the locals bug you to get massages as soon as you step foot on the sand and the current is strong I would go back and recommend this place every time. "

"We stayed at this resort for my sisters birthday and it was amazing. It is a small resort and you will get to know the staff and other vacationgoers really quickly. Danny Boy (staff) helped me to get a birthday cake to surprise my sister and helped us get a taxi to CoCo Beach where I had the drivers name before he even came to pick us up (also had a way to communicate with the driver via WhatsApp and he came and found us at our meeting point so we weren't searching for a random car). This is a small resort, don't go here expecting to party the night away, it's not the place for that. It IS a place for relaxing, swimming in the pools, having a couple drinks, and enjoying the buffets. Rooms were wonderful and everything was in good order. Would definitely stay again. "
