"Our great niece’s wedding was in Black Mountain and I chose this place because our family could spread out comfortably and we could cook our own breakfast each morning. The extra special surprise was the view of a full moon rising from behind the mountains each night and shining down on the lake."

"Six of us stayed in the chalets for two nights. It was a perfect size for our group and we liked the privacy and sleeping options the two units provided. We enjoyed the walk into town - just about a mile to the nearest brewery, though we took Ubers home. Overall a great stay and perfect for our purposes."

"This place is absolutely amazing! We had a great stay here and would definitely come back. It is clean, all the rooms are so nice. The kitchen is nicely stocked. It is also in a great location to downtown and outdoor activities. The game room was a major highlight. The place exceeds what is written in the listing and would definitely stay here again! Private dock perfect for relaxing, fishing, and swimming

"Had a great time, beautiful view, and the lake was great. The kitchen was stocked well with everything you need. However, the paddle boat was broken and we were not able to use it. The hot tub worked great! Would recommend and would stay here again!"

"The informational packet provided by the hosts was extremely helpful and very thorough, and even provided recommendations for places to visit. We only had one minor issue during our stay which we were able to communicate to the hosts to resolve. The kitchen in the cabin had anything we could possibly need and we were able to easily cook multiple meals after visiting the nearby Ingles. Overall it was a great stay and we would recommend this location to anyone looking for somewhere central to stay...

"This was our 6th or 7th stay, and it’s excellent every time. So peaceful and serene."

"We enjoyed our vintage airstream experience at Asheville River Cabins. The setting right on the French Broad River is magnificent! The only disappointment was that the vintage airstream smells of cigarettes, although I got accustomed to it once inside, with the help of an aromatherapy spray. The memory foam mattress was very comfortable, and the kitchen had nice dishes and cooking equipment. Enjoyed our French press coffee every morning. "
