The Lodge feels like a mountain lodge from the 40s or 50s that has been transported to modern times with all the modern amenities and comforts you’d expect from a modern upscale hotel. "Loved the location and the quietness of the area, cabin we stayed in was perfect, just wished we could have stayed longer. Definitely planning a return and telling friends about the stay. Made a friend in Olive, the owners dog, she's good company on a walk around the property. "We have been visiting the mountains of NC for 20 years and Lodge on Mirror Lake was by far the best rental we have had. There was everything we needed right there on the property. My grands as well as the adults enjoyed the peddle boat, the canoe, and swimming in the lake. The house was perfect to accommodate 9 of us and given the size of the house, we all had our space when we needed some "me" time. Loved the wrap around porch and the views were breath taking.
