"Service is really good. The inn is small and cosy with unlimited tea and coffee for guests. I really like the Japanese decor in the inn. The only downside is there is no noise proofing so you will hear every noise anyone makes. If you don't intend to sleep in, then it's not an issue. Nearby is the morihan tea square, a must - experience. "

"the room is very spacious. be warned that it is a couples hotel but overall my bf and i enjoyed the hotel room. the room we had, had a ‘all you can drink beer’ faucet which my bf loved. the area is inconvenient because the nearest train station is about 17 mins by walk, but not unbearably bad. we did notice pubic hair under the sheets, but that was the only thing that was unclean. stuff like amenities were free as long as you bring them back to the front desk area. all and all, would come back...

"Clean, peaceful, and conveniently located near subway stations for easy access around Kyoto. The simple café and bar downstairs were a nice touch. I really enjoyed the local atmosphere—less touristy than areas like Gion or the busy streets around Kyoto Station. A highlight for me was dining at Yakiniku Hayashi, a fantastic local BBQ grill just down the street. The food was so delicious that I went two nights in a row! Plus, the staff was incredibly friendly."
