"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Riad Jona. After a slightly daunting walk trying to find the Riad in the myriad of little lanes we received a very warm welcome at the Riad. All the staff we helpful, particularly Mohammed who looked after us brilliantly. The room was lovely and made up well. The Riad had a lovely calm atmosphere making it a great sanctuary to return to after the hustle and bustle of the souks etc. An excellent central location for exploring the old town too. "

"My wife had to point it out, but the idea of the Riad is to enjoy life the way that the owners had in the past. Its remarkable to go from the crazy business of the medina to the oasis of the Riad. The rooms were luxurious and the entire Riad was so calm and quiet. The breakfasts were incredible. Really enjoyed my stay"

"What an Amazing Riad with Amazing Staff. We stayed here for 7 nights and all the staff were very friendly, genuine and helpful. Airport transfers were arranged through Riad Karmela and we could not believe the effort of both of our drivers...on arrival he had waited over 2 hours for us! The second driver to the airport manouvered through almost impossible alleyways for us. Thank You to you both. The rooms were so spacious and clean. Breakfast was a delight each day and the staff were always attentive. The relaxation areas including the terrace were decorated to traditional standards, with beautiful furniture, paintings, photographs and Moroccan artefacts. The restaurant was almost full each night we stayed and highly recommended. The guitarist was also a pleasure to listen to on evenings. Thank You to all at Riad Karmela!"

"Close to the centre and extra clean"

"Hôtel & Ryads Barrière Le Naoura is a beautiful, clean and well kept hotel. We stayed at the beginning of our trip and again at the end. Both rooms were clean and very comfortable. The end of the trip we had a suite, which was exceptional. As for the staff...courteous, friendly and helpful. The location was great, just a short walk to Jemaa el-Fnaa and into the medina. Breakfast was good and the dining areas, both inside and outside, are very comfortable. I would definitely return to this hotel should I return to Marrakech."
