We got a very small and very dark room with a small window facing some back ruins while our friends got a room which was twice bigger, brighter, with a nicer bathroom and view for the same price. When we approached the front desk lady to find out if she made a mistake she offered that we pay more for an upgrade instead of paying us back for a room that we obviously overpaid for. "Stunning hotel with amazing staff. The hotel is perfectly situated within the Medina, close to Bahia Palace and an easy walk to the Souks. A fabulous breakfast is served in the hotel's courtyard, overlooking the pool. Our room was large and always very clean. Plates of fruit, cookies and dates were left in our room daily which is a lovely touch. There is no doubt in our minds that we will return to Ksar Anika again."
