"Easily able to walk around Queenstown "

"Close to town. Only 5 minutes walk, uphill going back to hotel, via gardens. Room large, clean and modern with added bonus of fridge and lots of sports channels on tv. No safe but reception happy to keep valuables secure. Parking can be an issue as hotel as limited spaces and most streets had 2 hour limits during daytime hours. We were lucky as found an all day space. Friendly staff who were most helpful. Would have no hesitation in staying at this hotel again should i return to Queenstown. "

"The staff was helpful and friendly. We stayed in a Lakeview room and our balcony view was gorgeous! We always appreciate a good restaurant onsite and this one was excellent!"

"Stayed in a single room for one night before the Milford Track. Basic, no frills room with dated bedding and furniture but it was clean and the price was right. The kitchen and bathrooms were also clean. No amenities are provided but they sell single use soap and shampoo in the shop. A pleasant 20 minute walk to the heart of town for shopping and food. It's my third time staying here and I will stay again when in Te Anau."

"We stayed at this property two times during our time in New Zealand. It is a really nice property; it is very stylish, clean and comfortable, the rooms we were in had great views of the lake too. The staff was friendly and so helpful, we were doing a couple of the great tracks and they stored our excess luggage for us while we were on the hike for free. The hotel is close to town and an easy walk, if you don’t mind the hill, to dinner and activities there. Public transport, the buses, are about a block away too, lots of construction is going on, so one time the stop was across the street, the next it was a street over and up, the next it was a street over and down, just ask the staff they point you in the right direction. Of course Queenstown is on the more expensive side for the country, so this was the most expensive place we stayed but it was worth every Penny to us. We highly recommend this hotel! "
