"We were looking for a weekend away and this cabin definitely provided that! Amazing views, all the amenities needed for a weekend in. Wonderful getaway that allows you to forget the world while remaining close enough to things that you can experience the surrounding areas. Apart from a few cars in the drives down the mountain, we were able to forget about others and relax for a wonderful weekend. "

"Mountainous location with basic needs for the kitchenette, woodburning stove for heat in the family room and comfortable beds. This host was great! She had the cabin all ready and offered help with maintaining the woodburning stove and recommendation for the area. We went to the area to pick up a tree at Mehaffey Tree Far where we not only got a beautiful tree but met the owners who were very nice and posed for a picture with our Newfoundland dog. "We enjoyed our vintage airstream experience at Asheville River Cabins. The setting right on the French Broad River is magnificent! The only disappointment was that the vintage airstream smells of cigarettes, although I got accustomed to it once inside, with the help of an aromatherapy spray. The memory foam mattress was very comfortable, and the kitchen had nice dishes and cooking equipment. Enjoyed our French press coffee every morning. "

"We had a great experience. The cabin is very clean and well-maintained, with everything we needed for a week-long stay with two adults and two young kids. The cabin is between Asheville and Weaverville — a good location, not walkable to much but a short drive to many, many things. (NB: The map on the VRBOlisting showed the wrong location for us; the cabin as actually father north a few miles then what it showed to us. But that was fine for us) "

"The property was lovely but we struggled with a few things... accessing the internet and thus, the TV, was a challenge. The upstairs living area is a good bit smaller than it appears. Locked ourselves out of the bathroom, so caution: that's easy to do! The upstairs furniture is firm - a bit stiff. Would stay again, but just good to know what the set up is like."

"I was up to look for real estate so not vacation/adventure. Internet and cell service worked well. Fenced yard was perfect for my pups- the owner even went out to take pics of the fence to send me prior to reserving to see if it met my needs. very responsive and accommodating owner. "
