"Given that the area was devastated by Hurricane Helene, the hotel tried their utmost best to live up to their reputation. The service was excellent. "We stayed only 2 short nights, but it really was perfect! The weather allowed us to enjoy the screen porch and windows open all night to hear the river and falls -- so relaxing and quite magical!! "We enjoyed our vintage airstream experience at Asheville River Cabins. The setting right on the French Broad River is magnificent! The only disappointment was that the vintage airstream smells of cigarettes, although I got accustomed to it once inside, with the help of an aromatherapy spray. The memory foam mattress was very comfortable, and the kitchen had nice dishes and cooking equipment. Enjoyed our French press coffee every morning. "
