"The house is perfectly situated near Hatley pointe ski slopes with a 7 minute drive. We saw deer daily on our drive to ski! The view from the living area and outside porches are breathtaking in the morning as the sun rises and in the evening as the sun sets over the mountains. "Trip started out interesting when mt going to Gatlinburg was closed, hence 4.5 hour detour around mt. Then winter got us on the cabin driveway requiring us to go into winter action mode. Not only did the cabin have everything you traditionally want during your stay (hot tubs, comfy beds, great kitchen etc), but all the little details throughout the place really were so unique and fun to enjoy. We loved having out in the living but also the basement games and movies were a big hit.
