"We had a lovely stay at this hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful, breakfast was good and the room was comfortable. A few things to note, though: - the hotel is a good 15m walk from the walls of Lucca, so you need to plan your days as it’s not easy to pop back during the day, especially in the heat of August. Bike hire is extra - 35 euro a day. - the pool is lovely - comfortable and a lovely space to relax. However, it’s only open from 10am - 7pm which was a shame as it’s not possible...

"Very nice property and grounds, breakfast was good, and the addition of a pool was a bonus. It's located about a 20min walk to the Lucca walls, which we easily done every day. Minor issues would be the metal four poster bed take up a little too much space in the rooms, the pool area could be a little cleaner (signs of algae around tiles). One problem which is not associated with the B&B, is the lack of Taxi's in Lucca, we arrived at the train station in the evening, and there were no Taxi's to...

"We had a wonderful week here ! We were met by the very nice owner upon arrival and shown around. The property was beautiful, immaculately clean, and well equipped ! Very peaceful, and quiet - with very easy access to Lucca, the Italian coastline, Florence, hiking in the Garanfanga region, etc. We spent several days out of our week just enjoying being at the house! Day tripping to other places was easy - and it was always nice coming "home" to such a perfect place for relaxing and enjoying time...
