"I got really lost finding the right bus and Giacomo was really helpful and eventually came to pick me up in his car, which was fabulous as I was tired and with a big bag. The house is a lovely old house and the room was clean and perfect with an ensuite. Giacomo gave me information about where to go to eat and I went to Leo’s nearby where they cut slices of pizza at whatever size you like which is a great idea. The breakfast was nice and a range of things that you can order the night...

"This was a beautiful property situated between Pisa and Lucca. It’s an older hotel but all of the amenities including air conditioning were good. Amazing pool area and loungers and you can run down to the lobby to get drinks and other snacks. We had a family room which had an upstairs with a king bed and downstairs there were two twin beds for the kids. Lots of good food options near by. Only negative was that the breakfast provided by the hotel wasn’t great in terms of quality or quantity of...

"If you are arriving/departing by train (Lucca) this is an excellent location as Hotel Rex is a couple of minutes walk away. The hotel is also very close to the city's renaissance walls. The hotel has whimsical decorations, a place for children to play, and a good breakfast. A table outside of our room had biscuits on it. I'm pretty sure other rooms had the same treat. Staff were pleasant and friendly. Outside the property was road construction, but it was not noisy. "
