"Great location. My wife and I enjoyed the location, perfect to take you road bike out and climb the big climbs. Sandwiched in between mt. whitney and horseshoe meadow. Short drive to Onion valley and white mountains. If you want the hard climbs this is the place to stay. Make sure you drive down tuttle road, its pretty nifty.
