"The Coal Exchange is a unique hotel in a very convenient spot for Cardiff Bay. Steeped in history. Good value. Downside for us was room was very dark and whilst there was a dressing table there was no stool nor light so you couldnt use it... it was so dark in that part of our 3 people room ( 102) . There were also no extra pillows as you normally would have. Some of the staircases needed a good hoover and clean. Its such a lovely place just needs tlc and attention to those details that matter....

Car park a bit tricky to find - but the instructions on hotel website are very clear and better than Sat Nav. "We had a really lovely large room which was much appreciated. Great location for shops, restaurants. some initial problems with parking which was quickly resolved. This was our second stay at the Novotel. Would stay again "

Lovely hotel.

"Amazing hotel, one small issue, we asked for twin beds, we’d had it confirmed online and on check in, but we had a double bed, no major issue so didn’t say anything as a massive bed x my son and I are used to sharing a bed in Disney lol Very central and friendly staff x"
