"The staff at St George’s are very friendly and go out their way to provide an excellent service, nothing is too much trouble . Breakfast was plentiful with lots of choice and served by friendly staff. My only slight niggle was the shower in our room I found it didn’t have sufficient force but I managed. Will definitely return."

"Very good quality. Feels very comfortable. Good for touring area as far away as Snowdonia. Guests should have access to spa at all times it is open, not have to pay from 9 - 5. Because these times are pay for I would not class it as a spa hotel."

"Lovely hotel, some rooms are excellent and exceeded expectations, spa facilities, main hall, library, bar and restaurant are beautifully renovated, and we were allocated room no.17, sympathetically decorated in keeping with the character of the Hall, the bathroom was very modern and clean. Spa was great, pool sauna, steam room very nice too. We had an issue with the TV and staff did all they could to fix the problem, even brought in another TV and we could use apps more easily. The restaurant food was very good, really enjoyed our meal. Overall Staff very accommodating and friendly which added to a lovely relaxing weekend."
