"Very nice and cheap place! Everything you need is there. Location is great, spacious, super comfortable bad, very nice staff and very good restaurant on the side! It's quiet but not far from the busy food/bar/streetfood madness"

"I stayed here in 2015 and gave it a great review.staff and room brilliant. But not in 2017. Staff had no english. Shower kept pulsating and going from very hot to cold in seconds. Bed side lights not working. No selection of english channells on tv. These conditions applied to all rooms not just mine . So called restraunt hardly ever open and little stock. If raining roof or canopy leaking. This place has the potential to be great but their seems to be no management or maintenance...

"What a great stay at The Hive. This is a wonderful boutique style hotel near the water with easy access to town. Rooms are bungalow style with AC. Super clean with great staff all around. Lots of chairs around to pool so no need to get up at 6 to throw a towel on a chair. Breakfast is great and lots of coffee options. Ive already recommended to friends and family who are now booked for March."

"I didn’t stay at this place when I arrived and found that it wasn’t as advertised I left and found another hotel. The room was very basic although it was clean, the TV was un-watchable, there was no safe in the room it was at reception and I was told to buy my own padlock which would have been a problem at 11pm. The biggest problem I had with this room was it’s location, it is less than 30m away from bars that pump loud music until 4-5am 7 days a week. I have been to Lamai many times and if...

"Really enjoyed my stay. Facilities could do with an update but everything clean and working fine. The staff are very friendly and can’t do enough for you. Location is amazing for both town and beach. I had a poolside villa and size was perfect, very quiet, and brilliant for just chilling on the terrace. If you want a warm, friendly and comfortable stay you won’t be disappointed "
