"We stay at this property quite often, and are generally pleased with the facility. This visit, and it was late in the evening when we discovered it, the heat, air and fan in the room did not work. Thank goodness it was a moderate night and although neither of us got a "good" nights sleep, we were able to stay on top of the covers and get some sleep with absolutely no air moving. "You know it’s an older hotel that has been maintained and really is just a lovely place to stay in. Ironically, we walked in to see Santa last night, which was a huge plus."

"What I like: location (near by the lake). What I don't like: NO one at the lobby when we arrived at 11pm, NO one pick up the phone either, NO poster or instruction for self check-in (doubt if any), we end up need to book & stay at another hotel. Note: the lobby's door is not locked, messy inside, and it looks like they are moving or will be filing bankruptcy soon."

"We came to visit parents for their 50th wedding anniversary. Wanted to stay close by . We took a nice walk around the lake and were able to enjoy the cozy fireplace. Beds were very comfy and really appreciated the big newly updated master bathroom. The front porch with all the rocking chairs was a huge bonus. Thank you for everything."

"This home was charming, comfortable, and spacious enough for our 7 adults and 1 toddler. It was well equipped with everything needed for our family's Christmas gathering! We invited guests for dinner and there was space in the dining area to add a card table (we brought the table) so that 12 people could eat together. "The property was clean, and beautifully decorated. It was in a great location for skating, tubing, and going out to eat with family. On the nights we stayed in there was ample cooking supplies and well-stocked spices."

"This log cabin offers a warm and cozy stay just a quick walk away from the lake and a playground for the children. The kitchen is very well supplied with any and everything you would need. We appreciated the 2 full and one half baths - each bedroom had close access. Although we were visiting over the winter holidays, the front porch and rocking chairs looked delightful for a lazy summer day. "
