"The stay was booked as a 40th birthday present. From pre arrival to departure we felt very welcomed. The pre arrival information was vary useful. As this was for a birthday break there is an optional extra to have the room decorated and a cake supplied. A very nice surprise for any unsuspecting guest. The owners and staff are very friendly. I have to mention the decor, it's amazingly quirky and very well done, no matter which room you're in you're eye gets drawn to something interesting....

"Lovely building and lovely room. 2 adults 1 child in bedroom 2. Large room with small ensuite shower, toilet and sink. Situated in a lovely street, can be a bit noisy at night with the pub but not enough to annoy us. Will definitely stay again. "

"Just back from a lovely overnight stay at Jericho’s. The location of the accommodation was fabulous and so central to the village and a leisurely walk to Bowness on Windermere. Our hosts were so friendly and helpful and we were called by phone on the day of arrival to say our room was ready which was such a lovely touch. The accommodation was spotless, so clean and tastefully decorated. We had a lovely room with everything we needed for our stay including a small fridge, coffee maker,...

"We stayed at the Wanslea on a short motorcycle trip to Ambleside. The rooms were spotless and the building is in an excellent location. A member of our party was staying in another hotel but the owners of the Wanslea were kind enough to accommodate him for breakfast. The entire experience was lovely and the owners were incredibly welcoming. Thank you for a pleasant stay. "
