Wonderful hotel and spa with a great aspect across Grasmere. The staff were all friendly, professional and contributed to a lovely stay. Only a short walk to Grasmere village and some decent hikes on the doorstep.

Really nice place to relax and unwind. The hotel room was nice, minor damage related wear and tear. Bed was really comfortable. Food on the other hand was basic apart from a few set dishes. Staff, very helpful and friendly. Would recommend

We stayed to celebrate my husbands 60th Birthday and although we had a slight issue with the booking (expedia’s fault not theirs) the staff were brilliant upgrading our room and leaving a lovely card and chocolates for my husband. Also after dinner they presented my husband with a Happy Birthday plate with fruit and chocolates. The spa pool was lovely and relaxing. All the hotel staff were very friendly and chatty. We will definitely go back again.
