"The property had amazing views. The best part was waking up in the morning to the sound of birds and other wild life and having chef prepared breakfast :) Some reviews did mention the bugs: you're in nature; it's expected and you get used to it and they do have pest control. No AC, but they provided fans and it was comfortable. Place is MUCH larger than the pictures. Highly recommend hiring James to cook for you!! We had him prepare breakfast daily! He's amazing and it makes getting started...

"My husband and I went here for our Anniversary and we were not disappointed. Everyone from Patrick, his wife, the housekeeper made us feel welcome. The drivers were like family by the end of the day, Miguel and Luis are the best! Patrick was a great help suggesting and helping plan our tours. All you have to do is sit back and enjoy yourself."

About 7 kms from La Fortuna, but there is a nice restaurant nearby and a grocery store in the village. Bedrooms have shelf storage but no closets or ways to hang clothing, which can be an issue for extended stays. Hot water in bathrooms only, but not in kitchen. Extra cleaning, towels, etc. readily available for extended stays."

"Very nice place. Can fit a large group. Definately feel you are in the rain forest while having modern amenities. Has everything you need. Close to the hot springs and not far from town. Have to be ok with occasional small lizards and small bugs in the house but that is an authentic rain forest. The italian place near by has good pizza."
