"Near the Kyoto train station. Small Quiet room with its own small sink and television. Nice selection of books and info about the area. Only bad things was I was told there was a laundry area to wash my clothes but I couldn't find it anywhere."

"Un lieu splendide pour rencontrer d’autres voyageurs et se reposer. Ce qui rend ce lieu encore plus mémorable est Papa & Mama qui sont toujours là pour vous avec beaucoup d’attention. "Excellent place to stay in Kyoto. Great location, friendly stuff, very clean, great price.,everything you need there. The little restaurant to eat, great homemade type food, great prices, I really liked it :) i highly recommend "

"Very clean. The bed was comfortable. Breakfast is some sweet bread. They set out options for pillows from you to choose from. It's a healthy walking distance from Kyoto station with light luggage and the the Nishiki Market area but far enough that it's quiet. Front desk staff was nice. The kitchen and common area downstairs are clean and fine. There is one washer and one dryer and a clothesline on the roof. It seems like the management is still learning the ropes with this place so I want to...

"The room is larger than it looks on the photo. Our family of 4 has a lot of space to move about and even a living room /dining area. The location is walkable distance from Kyoto Station but do prepare a walk for a bit, but it's also quiet, good for resting after a day of touring /shopping."

"enjoyed the interaction of guest house culture, its quite surprised to charge all amenities. The location was excellent which was only 3 - 4 mins to JR kyoto station. Cleanliness was good. The only thing need to improve is- the full english name from expedia was different/ unclear from the name plated signal at the entrance, it took me another 10 mins to figure out the hotel location. Anyways its a good experience to stay at guest house in kyoto"
