"For an area that doesn’t have much around, this hotel is closest to the train station where some family restaurants/cafes and supermarkets are. We also want to say the staff are super friendly and helpful especially the young man at check in counter. The onsen is also being managed well but some foreigners didn’t wash their bodies before getting into the onsen. I hope the staff will remind them about that at check in. "

"Very enjoyable and relaxing 3 days at Ryokusuiten. The staff there are the best. Enjoyed in-room hotspring and nightly Kaiseiki. We pre-ordered different dinner for each night with very reasonable added price. Would love to go back again."

"The hotel was clean and convenient to both the train station and the park/area. The one negative is that the hot springs/ public bath that is advertised is an additional charge once you arrive at the property. "

"Quiet, clean and comfortable rooms with efficient and unobtrusive elevators. Well above average attractive restaurant for all three major meals. Responsive concierge services 24/7. Only a couple of the overly numerous front desk staff speak reliable English. As in all Japanese hotels I have used, very poor TV offerings in English, almost pointless. I have stayed at this hotel for two to three week stays in three of the past eight years as I have family in Tokyo. Would have been more except for stringent Japanese COVID restrictions. Entirely honest in billing. Fair costs but well above average for travelers with budget worries who should probably stay elsewhere."
