"Best budget hotel! It was so clean, and organized. I saw staff even using a lint roller on the sofa in the lobby, which tells me they pay attention to detail and cleanliness. The rooms were very clean, the cleanest in my stay of 3 different hotels in Japan. I felt very comfortable there. I would 10/10 stay here again. The staff were very nice too. I appreciated all the amenities in the lobby and room. It was such a peaceful stay and I would stay here again"

Great location and hotel

"Really nice hotel very near Kyoto station. You do have to pay a nightly city tax (200 yen) but it is all very legit and done by you on a terminal. Very nice breakfast but more Japanese than western. Kyoto station has more restaurants than you can possibly try."
