"The best thing about our stay was the host - Guillermo and his wife Marlene went above and beyond: picked us up at the airport no charge; helped us track down my phone after I left it in a taxi :-( ; recommended restaurants; spoke English well and helped with translation; and even presented me with a birthday cake on my birthday! "This was our second stay here. It is in a quiet hamlet with real Mexican people and their animals.
