"It’s a great apartment, even better than we expected. Very clean, with comfortable beds, good water pressure in the showers, and bottled water was included so we didn’t need to buy any. Love the decor. Very cozy. Jacquie and Macario were very nice and helpful. Jacquie even brought us a bowl of mangoes one day. Would stay there again."

"Overall, this property met our needs. The location worked well for the golfers in the group and is close to the small shops in the Marina and the market in the shopping district. It was very clean and it was so easy to get chairs and umbrellas at the pool. "Our place was quite unique and had a nice atmosphere. Close to the beach but there are some hills to tackle before getting there. Outdoor space with hammock was nice to have. Missing some Canadian luxuries like microwave, washer and dryer and TV. There were people above us that you could hear occasionally. We enjoyed are stay."

"The unit was clean and comfortable The photos of the unit show a TV in the bedroom but it didn't work. The amenities show a DVD player but it was in a drawer not connected. One set of bed linens which had to be washed each week and put back on the bed and were showing signs of wear and had small holes. Some signs of neglect..screws missing on shower door and handle"

"Marea has great management and staff, from Sofia and Luisa who helped me book tours that were just right for my family to Jaime and Jenni at the front desk and the amazing bar and restaurant crew - Fernando, Rodrigo, Carlos and Tirso! Marea is on a 20 km stretch of pure white sand each with almost no one around! The property is beautiful and the villas with plunge pools on the deck, beautiful interiors and comfortable furniture make it hard to want to go beyond your own front (patio) doors! "
