"Excellent food, top shelf booze, friendly staff. The butler was non existent, never saw him but cleaning staff kept our room well stocked so it was fine. The rooms are beautiful. "

"Really enjoyed our stay here. First time staying north of Cancun. Resort is well-maintained. Staff are excellent - helpful, very engaged and friendly. Food is above average for all-inclusive - lots of choices and reservations for the a la carte restaurants not too difficult to get. The resort is ideal for families of young children (we are a couple in our mid-50’s) so we found ourselves a bit short on same-age visitors. We enjoyed hanging out at the quieter pool and spent long days there. Evening entertainment was of a very good calibre (again for a resort). Highlight is this stretch of beach. One can walk in either direction for many km’s. Overall…a very good experience and would recommend. "

"people are very nice. The hotel is not really what I would consider five stars. We had lots of problems with our thermostat. It would run like it had a mind of its own. We asked to switch rooms and although the hotel was not very full, they kept saying all the rooms were taken. It is very nice hotel over I would say it’s worth four stars definitely not a five star. "Really wonderful staff, excellent food and great value for money. The beach was clean and not crowded though we did go in low season. Take the ferry to Isla Mujeres using the Ultra Carga ferry. The only thing I didn’t like was the overly aggressive timeshare marketing. We made the mistake of sitting in on their pitch which went on for three hours!!!!! I had to tell them we were done with them before they would let us leave. It really spoiled our first day at the resort. "
