Church of the Light in Ibaraki, Osaka, Japan.

This is a church built by famous Japanese architect Tadao Ando. He is the same architect who built the Tokyo Sky Tree. This is a beautiful modern church that uses concrete, light, and simplicity in the best way. accessible by bus only. Take the bus from Osaka station. and the church is a short walk from the bus stop. If you go on a saturday there will be other architecture enthusiasts going to visit the church. Follow them. If you are alone make sure you have a map before you leave because it is outside the city center and people around the area wont speak much English.

"Really good sized rooms compared to others I have stayed in in Japan. Really clean and comfortable. Staff all lovely. Only negative thing I will comment on is the doors slam shut and with a lot of force. This is incredibly noisy. The hotel in general is so nice and quiet but the doors are ridiculously loud. If they had soft shutting it would be perfect. However the rest of the hotel was so good I’d definitely stay again. "

"Room appeared exactly like pictures. Appreciated large tv console and table with chairs for unpacking. Comfortable twin beds and hotel pajamas. Delicious breakfast buffet. Close walking distance to subway station, restaurants, coffee shops, and shopping. "

"This was a fabulous stay. We loved all the amenities and the onsen. We stayed in a quad room (4 twin beds). It was spacious and including a dining area and two toilets. It was perfect for our family of four. We enjoyed soaking in the onsen and having snacks after walking all day. Also easy to use laundry room- just need 100¥ coins to operate. Great stay!"

"Very clean hotel and across the street from a subway station. Only thing I can knock them for is the washer/dryer machines they have on site. They are coin op and the additional drying functions are only by 30 min increments. Did 2.5 hours worth of drying for my small load of clothes but still damp so I gave up. Gave up and threw my clothes in the luggage anyway. "
