"This is a very aged, yet still serviceable roadside motel. It was clean, no bugs. Coffee, service and refrigerator in the room. Coffee was typical nothing great. The staff were friendly and professional. That’s the upside. The downside was no microwave in the room. "I've been visiting the Ranch for the last several years as a stop while going to or from Northern California (I live in Los Angeles); the gift shop is my favorite - I've purchased several pajama bottoms there. The bakery is to die for excellent. As I type this, I am staying overnight for the first time. I dined in the restaurant - the food was outstanding. The room is charming and cozy. The shower is PERFECT. I'll be back. that's for sure."

"The host Allen was great! He stayed in communication with us and even offered to turn on the heater for us because we weren’t expected to get in until about 10pm. When we arrived the thermostat was showing that it was heating but the vents were blowing cold air and the inside temp read 61. I set the thermostat to 72 and waited about and hour and the temp had gone down to 60. Sent Allen a message through the app, not expecting a response due to how late it was.
