"This is a great place to stay when exploring the Redwood Coast and truly felt like being home. The house was exactly as listed. There is a huge yard and is located in a quiet peaceful neighborhood where you can hear the crickets chirp and the frogs croak under the stars. No complaints at all."

"House was in a great location, easy to find. Walking distance to grocery store and The Plaza. Very clean, nice decor and a nice fire place. Full kitchen, coffee, tea and popcorn were on hand when we got there 😊 plenty of towels and linens. There was also a desktop fan in each room. The 2 rooms were identical and comfy. Only 2 suggestions I would make. Have a fan available for the living room (traffic is a little loud if you open the windows). And have a porcelain toilet seat instead of porous...

"The home itself was great, came with all basic necessities needed, comfortable space and nice yard. The one downside was the bugs - a lot of cobwebs in the house, spiders and slugs. Overall good place to stay in a quiet area that is easy to find in the heavy fog. Easy access to Redwoods either direction too. "

"The property was perfect for our stay! It had everything we needed and was in walking distance to Trinad and the beach. It was fun to look out our windows and see the redwood trees and ferns. Communication before and during our trip with the owner was fantastic. We do recommend the Trinidad Head Trail overlooking the beach and the Eatery for dinner. We'd definitely stay here again if we get a chance to visit the redwood parks again!"

"Our stay was so fun! There was room for everyone and the house is quirky-cool and comfy. We loved walking around the neighbourhood. We saw goats! chickens! Red lizards! Friendly, fluffy doggos. Everything we needed for cooking was available. The beds are cozy and the shower on the bottom floor is the bee's knees. Best. Shower. Ever."

"House was clean, quiet, and as described on listing. Well stocked kitchen to be able to cook ourselves. We couldn’t get the hot water to work in master shower, and the pipes are reversed in the other bath. Beds were comfortable. Neighborhood is pretty old and run down, but the location was nice to be able to access coastal hikes, Crescent City, and many of the Redwood hikes."

We had full days exploring the redwoods and lost coast, and enjoyed our evenings sitting outside while taking in the gorgeous views and sunset. Don, the homeowner, went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, providing us with great recommendations. We will definitely stay here again if we make our way back to Trinidad."

"This place is amazing. Very secluded and right on the river. Here are some protips - research river conditions beforehand. The Trinity was still experiencing peak run off conditions and was unswimmable and unfishable for the most part. Also, heed the hosts driving instructions that "strongly suggest" accessing the property from Willow Creek. Really, the host should change this to a requirement, not a suggestion. Even accessing from Willow Creek is a bit tricky and not for the faint of heart but...
