"This is a charming place to stay. Note that the building is old - built from redwoods and insulated with redwood sawdust - so you can hear everything. I slept with earplugs and over-ear headphones playing soft music and had an excellent night sleep - best of my trip. Somehow they have managed to have beds that are very soft, but it also didn’t mess up my back. "We enjoyed our stay at Emerald Forest. The campground is stunning - we had a massive redwood right next to our cabin. There were a few issues that came up during our time there, but the management team was very responsive and helped us resolve them. If you want a peaceful, sylvan place to stay while visiting the Redwoods, this is a great option."

"The place had plenty of space. The heaters worked. It is sparse. Bring toilet paper, papers towels, soap, shampoo, hand towels, kitchen towels. Host did provide coffee. The beds were pretty comfortable. It's quiet. "
