"We absolutely loved our time here. It was clean and beautifully decorated. The forest view was lovely and yet we were so close to the Heavenly Gondola. We had 5 adults and 4 children in the 6 bedroom Villa #11. We had a lovely view of the forest out the back and the Gondolas out the front corner windows. The listing does need to be updated for accuracy though. On the negative side there was no desk (although the listing said there was one). But, on the up side, the 6 bedroom listing said 4...

"A great place to stay and in a good location for us. On the Blvd away from it all but close enough to be anywhere we needed to be in less than 10 minutes. "The property managers were pleasant and available to assist us in checking in and accessing the property. The lodgings were clean, but spartan. Kitchenette seemed like it was missing glassware (only one wine glass), could have used more towels. There wasn't much atmosphere to the property and the shared features such as the rooftop deck could have used much more attention to make it inviting. Overall, clean and servicable, but spartan. Loved the easy access to parking and the beach!"

"We came for a soccer tournament. This location was close to the fields. It’s a very cute cabin that you can go and relax. It has a nice hang out area outside which was great with the kids. The lake also is very close! We would stay again. "

"The location of Lakeland Village is amazing, walk to the beach, pier and pool for a family friendly vacation. However, the unit is not worth the price, and needs many updates and upgrades to make it comfortable. Motel quality bedding, and furniture. There were no fans to help with the intense heat. The unit was not vacuumed and everything felt very old and dusty."

"My husband & I were very happy with our stay at South Lake Chalet. The location was great, we walked to Heavenly Village everyday for shopping and restaurants. The room was nicely updated, cute little kitchenette and clean bathroom. Lots of thoughtful amenities & extras (earplugs & masks, makeup wipes, extra towels, etc). We had our dog with us and had no problems. Would definitely stay here again!"

"We had a nice few days at the condo. The condo has everything you need. There wasn't anything that we were lacking, except for air conditioning. But thankfully the condo has many nice stand up fans. We needed them as it was 98 in Tahoe. We really appreciated the stand up paddle board we used at the lake. The rooms were comfy and we felt like we were at home. It's very close to everything on the north side. We would definitely stay there again. "

"My cousin and I stayed at Malaina’s Homewood home in Sept 2024. Even after four days in the home, we could not get over the spectacular view of the lake from the downstairs living areas, the upstairs bedrooms and of course the large deck. The kitchen was nicely updated and no well equipped with dishes and appliances.
