Alfriston is a great base, able to buy our groceries at the local shop, have a meal out at the smugglers arms, & browse the wonderful bookshop. "This house was perfect for me, my husband and my sister. We were at a lunch party on Haying Island and we were able to easily drive to Sheffield Park in the light. The parking was so convenient and the cottage was extremely well equipped, not that we needed a washing machine. I would unhesitatingly recommend it. We tried to set off the dishwasher just the once, but the top shelf was attached by elastic bands and so we didn't risk putting anything there. Had we been going to stay longer I would...

"Small but perfectly formed! A lovely cottage perfect for our stay and visit to Goodwood. Close to the beach and other great places to visit. Probably the best equipped kitchen I have ever come across - super sharp knives were a revelation!! The little touches were much appreciated from the welcome card and chocolate to the milk, bread and other bits left for us to enjoy. Communication with the hosts was great and we would definitely stay again. "

"Was a lovely stay, great set up and location, perfect for lots of shopping and good food, the only downside was that the shower was not very hot at all, after a long day in the cold a hot shower was something we really needed, so we did spend most of our stay freezing unfortunately, bed was very comfy and was fabulous that you could connect your own Netflix to the TV, thank you for a nice weekend away :)"
