"Our stay was just one night, and it was wonderful. Beautiful home, everything just as described, great communication and very easy check in. House was clean and spacious. The view is amazing! Three deer greeted me in the morning!"

"This property is apparently owned by the Episcopal Church yet it is a full use public hotel. The grounds were impeccable with hiking trails, a small lake, wooded surroundings, isolated yet accessible, I loved it. A full buffet style breakfast, not like the type you typically find in chain hotels but like a restaurant. The rooms are a little dated but very clean, no television which was actually nice. Highly recommend!"

"The hotel is historic, cozy, well maintained. The location is great, walking distance to shops and restaurants. The owners were delightful, easy to talk with, helpful. Michael, the chef, is amazing! Creative. The breakfasts and dinners were scrumptious and beautifully presented. You'll be glad you stayed and ate here."

"Beautiful Inn, very nice staff,helpful and didnt laugh when i called and asked about the sheets they used. Those were amazing!!!!! I jave wanted to stay there for many years and it was everything i thought it would be. Clean room,hot shower,plenty of towels. I will be staying again"

"It was great to find a hotel close to Asheville that had water and power. They have a restaurant on site with a great bartender. Food was delicious. The area is still torn up with a bunch of downed trees, but the main building was clean and quiet. Check in was a bit of a hassle but the staff there was quick to help. Will certainly stay there again as I am working the hurricane damages and will be back. "
