"It was great to find a hotel close to Asheville that had water and power. They have a restaurant on site with a great bartender. Food was delicious. The area is still torn up with a bunch of downed trees, but the main building was clean and quiet. Check in was a bit of a hassle but the staff there was quick to help. Will certainly stay there again as I am working the hurricane damages and will be back. "

"The property was adequate, although a bit run down i.e. cracked switch plates and dirty baseboards. The room was cold and couldn't stay warmed up. There were only this coverlets on both beds and no real blankets or comforters. My parents were unable to stay the second night due to the frigid conditions. "We loved the welcoming staff, the hotel and convenient attached restaurant architecture and European feel. The 2nd floor room had large view windows opening to the balcony that were wonderful. The fireplace in the room and bottle of wine was such a nice touch - as was the convenient coffee bar just down the hall in the morning. And the food was amazing! We will definitely be back to enjoy the cold plunge, infrared sauna, workout room, jacuzzi and pool when it warms up a bit. Funny...

"I gave it a good review because the staff was so nice and the place is clean and cute however our bedroom I think it was called Spring room, was not very functional. There was nowhere to sit but on the bed and on one hard old wooden chair. Couldn't get the TV to work said no signal, no matter what we did and there really wasn't many surfaces to put stuff on. The bed was okay but the pillows weren't comfortable so didn't have a very good sleep and at 6:00 something in the morning, a road crew...
