"We took a trip to New York last week just my daughter and I. The family was a little bit nervous about us going out on our own, but we are planners and felt very comfortable navigating. From lower Manhattan to the Bronx. The hotel was perfectly placed for accessing the subway system and doing all of the things that we had planned. The staff was absolutely amazing. From the room service to the front desk to the doormen. Eugene and Albert were at the front door when we needed to leave our bags on the last day and they had been so accommodating and the entire time we were there. I went down to the café every morning and the staff there was fantastic. They make really great coffee and are always smiling and bantering with one another. I loved just sitting there listening to them. It was quintessential New York. I would definitely stay at Romer again. The first night our room was a little humid and did not seem to be cooling off, they immediately switched our room and we were very comfortable the entire rest of the week. I loved the layout, location, and feel of this hotel and I am so grateful that our mother daughter trip could be even more successful thanks to them. "

"Our check in was fabulous and was upgraded to having a refrigerator The room was great for the first day and then the A/C kind of quit working The repair staff was excellent, and the A/C was working but the fan was not strong enough to force out the cold air We were given a fan to help the cold air circulate in the room It only partially worked The room was warm but not unbearable The cleaning staff was top of the world She was just Grand We were located in the center of the town and everything was accessible by walking Food choices were plenty and Don't miss Ellens Stardust Diner It's the best right around the corner Would stay there again Thanx "
