"Simple Elegance. This roomy studio on 5 glorious acres just north of Hilo is in a neighborhood of estates. Breakfast on the east facing lanai features a private, park like view with dazzling shafts of morning light through the trees, a chorus of forest birds, and a peak at the ocean just 20 steps into the yard. "As advertised and more! It was a shame we didn't have time to thoroughly explore their beautiful grounds and giftshop. I told my wife about the highly rated vegetation cafe and she said, "well I'm not a vegetarian.". Then she tried the tiny fresh baked loaf of sweet bread they kindly left in the fridge(perfect after volcano viewing snack), Then when I asked "How about now?". She replied "I think I might be a vegetarian!". Delicious! Thanks again for a wonderful stay!"

"My spouse and I had the best time staying in Shannon's tree cottage! It was eat-off-the-floor clean when we arrived, and the general instructions on the table were very clear and simple. The dehumidifier was a nice touch, as were the heated mattress pads, which I didn't know i needed in my life until now. It was so nice to wake up to such a beautiful rainforest setting every morning. "We were two couples visiting the Big Island for 10 days: 4 nights at Hulili Farms, 6 nights at Mauna Lani condos. At Hulili Farms, one couple stayed in the Pineapple Cottage while the other stayed in the Treehouse. We gathered nightly on the lanai of the cottage for tropical drinks and simple meals.
