"Very interesting hotel, like the name "Grand" would suggest. Nicer area than most in Nanaimo also!"

"We stayed in the signature tent houses and it was incredible. The ocean view from our tent was divine; the sun was streaming in on the patio all afternoon (meaning we read our books and watched the sea life), the sunset was stunning and we had a very good sleep in the comfortable bed. We stayed two nights but would’ve loved to stay longer. The boardwalk to get to the tents was easy, and helped us digest a delicious meal from the restaurant. The heated floors were a lovely touch. Make sure to bring extra warm clothes if staying in the winter. The staff brought us an extra heater and we were fine but it was chilly the first night. Use wheeled luggage if you have it, as the boardwalk is a good 5 minute walk to the tents and we had to carry a lot!10/10 - Definitely coming back! "

"It feels like going to a spa staying at this resort when you take advantage of the sauna, indoor and outdoor hot tubs, swimming pool, and massage chairs. The beds are very comfortable, but the sofa beds, not so much. The staff are very accommodating and helpful. The only improvement I would like is salt and pepper provided in the kitchen suites."

"A beautiful place with good services. Cold plunge in the swimming pool was a plus."
