" This was a perfect location for two old guys from separate parts of the country to meet up and go to our alma mater at Northern Michigan University. The house/cottage is lovely and serene. We initially had some problems with the app that the customer Person resolved, and we were able to get in touch with our host, who was great. I highly recommend this to those who value fresh air, located right on Lake Superior "

"I booked the house for the Marji Gesick mountain bike race. I had five friends travel with me as a support crew. The house was excellent for our needs. Plenty of beds and 1.5 bathrooms. A well stocked and large kitchen and plenty of living space. Outdoors was a nice grill, screened in house on the lake and a canoe. I caught a pike right off the dock Friday! "This place was amazing with the water on both sides. It offered something for everyone in our group kyaking, fishing, bonfires. Parking was a bit tight as we had four trucks and trailers with side by sides but we were able to make it work. We had a wonderful time riding the trails during the day and hanging out playing cards and sitting around the campfire at night. Would love to come back during the summer and again next fall. a great hangout spot "

"We loved everything about this home and the surrounding property. As others have mentioned - it's a good 30 minutes to any neighboring towns, so we made sure plan our meals ahead and brought groceries with us. The house is lovely, spacious and was perfect for our 3 generations and two dogs. It was exactly as described and we enjoyed seeing the deer cross the lawn, beautiful sunrises across the basin and the comfortable indoor/outdoor seating options! We hope to be back again some time!"

"The location is quiet and private.There are 5 cottages and a main house so you have some privacy. The cottages are nice and have all your necessities. The view of the lake is beautiful! We all enjoyed our stay at Elemental on beautiful Shag Lake! Our host George was helpful and communication was perfect! "

"Adorable little house in a nice neighborhood. Close to downtown Negaunee with all of it's cute shops and restaurants. It is also close to the Iron Ore Heritage Trail which we spent our days riding bike on. We really appreciated that the property was dog friendly. Our hosts even had a basket of dog toys there for the pups entertainment!"

"Property as described! Robin and her family live in a separate house on the property but the carriage house is completely private and cozy. 15 minutes to downtown Marquette and 30-40 minutes to Munising/Pictured Rocks. We came for the fall foliage (we were a little on the late side; Robin said the second weekend in October is best), but we still had a lot of great color and hiking. "

"Great place to relax and enjoy mother nature. It is so peaceful and private. The cabin is clean and well equipped with everything you need. Star gazing at its finest! We loved sitting on the bank of the river and fishing. No one else around. By far a perfect vacation. Ken is an absolute terrific host! "We came for a lityle getaway to relax and wind down between a busy summer and the start of our daughter's senior year. We couldn't have found a more perfect spot. Both cottages were just as described and the seperate bunkhouse was perfect for the teenagers to have their own space. The little deck over looking the river was the perfect spot to sit with a glass of wine and abook. Deb was very communicative and checked in to be sure we had everything we needed. "My Son had a race this weekend! When we got to the house we were greeted by a box of fresh donuts and muffins! The house was very clean and very well appointed with all the necessities for a comfortable stay. The kitchen had a great selection of teas and everything for a great cup of coffee! The beds were very comfortable. The shower provided a nice Hot shower that was needed after a day in the cold. I would highly recommend staying here! Take advantage of the short walk to the lake! "
